Today I’m thrilled to share with you a little glimpse of a sweet studio newborn session I got to capture. It is always so fun to document some of baby’s first moments and work with families during this special time. 

Baby girl’s parents were such a delight to work with, and we had a great time during her session. They were so relaxed during our time in the studio. It can feel a little stressful to bring your new baby out into the world, but they were so calm and just enjoyed their time with their sweet girl.
This little cutie had the most amazing head of hair you have ever seen. Truly. We had to make sure that it was featured in her photos! The cute little headband was made even more adorable with her adorable hair. 

During every newborn session, we use a variety of props, swaddles, and sets to create a variety of beautiful images. From snug swaddles to soft blankets, and buckets to baskets, every detail is carefully considered, bringing out the best in your images. We chose a sage green and cream blanket for this little one. 

One of my favorite parts of these sessions as a Seattle Tacoma newborn photographer is all of the close-up detail shots of each baby’s features. There is something mesmerizing about capturing the tiny gestures and delicate expressions of a new baby. It’s a fleeting moment in time that deserves to be cherished forever. 

I am always in awe and have a great sense of gratitude during my photo sessions, especially for new babies. Because here’s the thing about newborns: they change so quickly, almost in the blink of an eye. That’s why documenting this precious time is so important. Trust me, you will never regret having these images to look back on and treasure for years to come.
