This Little Pic Photography is a Seattle photography studio centrally located in Seattle’s Sodo and Georgetown area right off of I-5. I always feel honored when a client chooses me to photograph their child’s special milestones, and am always thrilled when I am chosen year after year. I was lucky enough to photograph this beauty’s one year milestone and cake smash session last year. She was such a fun little client and was full of personality, so as you can imagine how excited I was to photograph her two year old milestone session this year. 

I had purchased this adorable vintage sun dress at a local antique shop in Tacoma and was super excited to use it in the beautiful green grassy field. When photographing children’s milestones, there are a few tricks I have up my sleeve to help keep the session fun and authentic to each child. It is always important to me that I am able to capture their true smiles. As a Mother, myself, I want to look back and see my child as they are. Not a “say cheese” canned smile. The only way, I have been able to do that within my sessions is to just have some good ‘ol fashioned fun. 

….and what little kid {or human for that matter} doesn’t like BUBBLES?!!! They add such a magical touch to the images, and her giggles just jump out in every image.

We photographed this two year milestone session a little later than the typical “cherry blossom” time, as this year was quite a wet spring for us here in Seattle. But, while walking this beautiful location, I noticed one lone cherry blossom tree! It was full of beautiful pink blooms, and it matched up perfectly with another vintage toddler dress, I have in my toddler wardrobe for use during your children’s milestone session…
