When is the best time to BOOK my session?
If booking a newborn session, I recommend booking and securing your session in your second trimester. We only book 8 newborn sessions a month, so to secure your preferred or needed session date/time, I suggest booking in your second trimester. If booking a milestone, family or maternity session session dates are typically booked 4-6 months ahead of time to ensure availability.
How old will my baby be for the newborn session?
Newborn sessions are held within the first two weeks of baby's birth date. However, there are times baby is photographed past their two week mark due to hospital stays being longer. Not a problem at all, we can still capture a beautiful session!!
How long will my session last?
Each session time varies depending on the type. However, maternity, milestone & family sessions run between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours. Newborn sessions run longer due to the frequent soothing and safely posing baby. I would plan on a 1.5 hour session time for our Little Babe session and 3 hours for our Luxe Newborn session.
Where is your studio?
Our studio has recently moved from Sodo, Seattle to Federal Way and is nestled right off of I-5 on 320th Street between Tacoma and Seattle. We are a hop, skip and jump from Hwy-18 and surrounding neighborhoods of Auburn, Kent, DesMoines and West Seattle.
What do we need to bring to our session?
All of my sessions include styling with props and outfits that are for borrow from our studio wardrobe. Our studio is fully stocked with newborn and baby essentials. Our session pre-consultation will cover any color specifics to help guide me in stylizing your session. The studio wardrobe also includes gowns for Mom and select items for older children.
If there are any special family heirloom items, military/police/fire fighter items etc.. you would like to have included in your session please indicate that during our pre-session questionnaire and I will do my best to incorporate it in to your session.
When do we pay for our session?

Once we have determined your session type & availability, you will purchase the session deposit retainer in our SHOP . Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session, we will set up your viewing and ordering appointment. At the appointment you will get to see your images displayed in a slideshow and printed, and then select which digital and printed products you wish to purchase. Do I receive all of my images from my session?
You bet! If you love your gallery, you can choose all of your images from your session via Custom Collection or A la Cart. Most clients choose a Custom Collection, so they are able to get some sort of art piece AND all of their digital files. What is the turnaround time for images?
My current turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. You will receive an email when I am wrapping up your gallery and ordering your proofs to set up your viewing and ordering appointment.
